Ruby May offer two types of tanning: a spray tanning system where the therapist will apply the colour to your skin using an air gun or we offer a rub-on tan that takes longer to apply but has exfoliation combined within the treatment.

All our tanning products contain DHA. This interacts with the amino acids which lie in the top layers of your skin, thus developing into a tan that complements your natural skin tone.

Ruby May recommends that a patch test is carried out prior to full treatment.

Should you be having this treatment for a special occasion we strongly advise a trial run to ensure you’re satisfied with the results.

Fake Bake

Fake Bake has been scientifically created, with organically based product to create the most natural tan without the effects of harmful UV rays.

Fake Bake self tanning lotion has two tanning agents, plus a patent pending technology that promotes a deeper tan, lasting 50% longer. Using a cosmetic colour guide ensuring a streak free application.

Your therapist will exfoliate the whole of your body and then leave you to shower off the excess, once you have dried she will return to apply the self tan.
